A LORRY has hit a railway bridge, leaving skips all over a busy road.

The A406 North Circular was blocked eastbound for 20 minutes at around 1pm today (Tuesday, September 27) after a "shed load of skips" came sprawling across the busy bypass.

The lorry carrying them is believed to have crashed into the Central Line bridge.

A Met Police spokesman said officers are still at the scene but the road has now been re-opened.

There are not believed to have been any injuries.

Queues are tailing back towards Walthamstow and traffic is moving slowly.
