Traffic on the A2 eastbound in Kent near Bluewater has stopped due to an overturned car.
The incident happened between the A296 near Greenhithe and A2260 at around 4pm today (May 9).
National Highways confirmed on X (@HighwaysSEAST) formally known as Twitter that all traffic had initially stopped.
In an update at 4.30pm, it added that lanes two, three, and four are open while lane one remains closed for recovery work.
There is around six miles congestion on approach which is causing severe delays of at least 60 minutes.
We have contacted Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service for further information.
